Vertical Arts, located at 690 Marketplace Plaza, will host “Glam Jam”, a benefit fashion show for the Steamboat Springs Arts Council on Friday, June 10th from 6:00-8 p.m.  The fashion show will exhibit apparel from Urbane and Chez Nous and will include celebrity models and Olympians from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.

“We hope to showcase the trends in art, architecture, fashion and interior design through an amazing display of fashion on Vertical Art’s red carpet.  This will be surrounded by a gallery of remarkable artwork by contemporary artist Amy Barone”, states Jennifer Michele, an interior designer who is spearheading the fashion show at Vertical Art’s Architectural  & Design Studio.

Proceeds from the event will be used by the Arts Council to fund its second annual SSWSC dry land training dance class.  Last year’s class was hosted at the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at The Depot in collaboration with Children’s Dance works and teacher, Wendy Smith-Mickelsons.  The program was spawned by Deb Armstrong of SSWSC and Clark Davidson of the Arts Council.

The event will be presented by the Amante / Chez Nous / Drunken Onion / Tall Tulips / TV 18/ Urbane/ Wild Horse Salon/ Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and Vertical Arts.
